DaHo Loop Splicing Needles

DaHo Loop Splicing Needles are designed to create strong, reliable splices in hollow Spectra braid with precision and ease.

How It Works

The needle is inserted into the Spectra line being spliced. The end of the second Spectra line is then placed into the needle’s wire loop.

As the needle is advanced through the hollow braid, the second line is pulled along with it inside the line being spliced. Once the desired insertion length is reached, the needle is brought out of the braid.

The line attached to the wire loop is then tightened, completing one side of the splice or forming a terminating loop.

Design & Construction

Loop splicing needles are engineered differently than threading needles.

• Maintain a small overall diameter for easy insertion

The primary sizing factor for loop splicing needles is the Outside Diameter (OD), which determines compatibility with different Spectra line sizes.
